June 28, 2021 at approximately 7:45 p.m. an officer assigned to the Eastern District conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2008 Gray Nissan Sentra in the area of Oakwood Road and Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking with the occupants the officer received information which led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of 1004.45 grams of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia and $1913.00 in U.S. currency. The passenger was arrested and charged.

On June 28, 2021 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Northern District officers observed a suspected hand-to-hand CDS transaction in the area of the 100 block of Holsum Way in Glen Burnie. Officers stopped the suspects, who were operating a black Nissan, in the area of the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway. Upon approaching the vehicle the officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of the following items:
- 30.84 grams of suspected marijuana
- 2.76 grams of suspected cocaine
- 3 Oxycodone pills
- 2 Tramadol Hydrochloride pills
- 45 Alprazolam pills
- Clear plastic container containing suspected THC wax, 4.67 grams
- Digital scale
- Black Taurus .40 caliber handgun with 8 rounds of ammunition
- $2,140.00 U.S. currency

On June 28, 2021 at approximately 2:30 p.m. a Western District officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord in the 8300 block of Timberlake Court in Severn. The officer made contact with the driver who failed to provide identification. The driver was arrested and found to be in possession of 17.86 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

21-721140
On June 28, 2021 at approximately 8:50 p.m. Southern District officers responded to the 2000 block of Somerville Road in Annapolis for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The adult male victim reported he had parked his vehicle, a white 2021 Subaru Ascent, and left his teenage child in the Subaru with the vehicle running. A black sedan approached the Subaru from behind. An unknown male suspect exited the black sedan, got into the victim’s vehicle and told the child to get out. The child complied and the suspect drove away with the Subaru. There were no weapons displayed or implied and no assault occurred. The victim activated the tracking system of the Subaru and officers were able to locate it in the 900 block of Wahler Street in Washington D.C. The suspect was not located.
