On June 16, 2021 at approximately 1:02 p.m. Western District officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Versa in the area of Almshouse Drive and Blue Water Boulevard in Severn. Officers made contact with the driver and information was received resulting in a search of vehicle. The search of the vehicle revealed 20 purple graphic plastic bags of THC gummy worms weighing 989.30 grams, 46.31 grams of suspected marijuana, and one scale. The suspect was arrested and charged.

On June 17, 2021 at approximately 1:21 a.m. Western District officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Hyundai Sonata in the area of Telegraph Road and Norcross Lane in Severn. Officers made contact with the driver and information was received resulting in a search of vehicle. Located in the vehicle was 1881.23 grams of THC gummies, 389.21 grams of suspected marijuana, and $1000.00 in US currency. Both occupants were arrested and charged.

Weapons Violation / Annapolis

On June 16, 2021 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Southern District officers responded to the Hampton Inn located at 124 Womack Drive in Annapolis for a customer dispute. Officers arrived on scene and encountered a subject that appeared to be intoxicated. While speaking with the subject, officers noticed a bulge in the subject's waistband which they believed to be a firearm. Suddenly the object dropped down inside his pants to his foot. Officers immediately placed the suspect in custody without incident. The loaded 9mm handgun with no serial number was recovered. The suspect was arrested and charged.
