On June 10, 2021 Anne Arundel County officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 100 Archwood Avenue in Glen Burnie on a 2019 Honda Accord operated by Mr. James Franklin Nagel. Located on Mr. Nagel was 42 bags of suspected crack cocaine (18.93 grams). Mr. Nagel was advised that due to an ongoing investigation, a search warrant would be executed on his residence. On June 10, 2021 a search of the residence located on the 100 block of Archwood Avenue in Glen Burnie was conducted and the following contraband was recovered and seized:
- Loaded Glock 43X handgun with a micro conversion kit
- Loaded Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and ammunition
- $1,200.00 in U.S. currency
James Franklin Nagel was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of CDS
- Possession of CDS with intent to distribute
- Firearm stored in an area a minor could gain access
- Possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime

On June 10, 2021 at approximately 8:40 p.m. Eastern District officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Charger in the area of Ritchie Highway and Whites Road in Severna Park. Upon approaching the vehicle officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a loaded, Taurus 9mm handgun and a small bag containing a mixture of 25 assorted suspected Clonazepam, Alprazolam, and Carisoprodol pills. The driver was arrested and charged.

On June 10, 2021 at approximately 12:33 p.m. Western District officers conducted a traffic stop on a gray Ford Mustang in the area of Whiskey Bottom Road at Rt 198 in Laurel. Upon speaking with the driver officers received information which led to a search of the vehicle. A Glock 9mm (Polymer 80) semi-automatic handgun with a 30 round magazine and 11 rounds were recovered. The driver was arrested and charged.

On June 10, 2021 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Western District officers responded to the 1800 block of Robin Court in Severn for a CDS Violation in a white Mazda SUV. Upon arrival officers located the vehicle, which was occupied by three subjects. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of 17.19 grams of suspected marijuana. A juvenile within the vehicle was found to be in possession of a loaded .25 caliber Raven P25 handgun. The juvenile was taken into custody and charged. One of the occupants, Jefferson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A third occupant, Chidlow, was issued a criminal citation and released from the scene.
