Weapons Violation / Linthicum

On March 28, 2021 at approximately 10:40 a.m. Northern District officers responded to check on the welfare of a sick or injured subject at the Royal Farms located at 803 Pinnacle Drive. Upon arrival, officers located the subject, who appeared to be asleep and unresponsive, in a blue Toyota RAV4 parked at one of the gas pumps. Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel were called as officers attempted to awaken the individual by knocking on the driver’s side window. The subject woke up and stepped out of the vehicle. Prior to being treated by EMS, officers located a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun on his person. The subject was treated on scene by EMS personnel and was subsequently found to be prohibited from possessing firearms and placed under arrest.
