On March 25, 2021 at approximately 9:51 p.m. Eastern District officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Jeep Compass in the area of Crain Highway and Crainmont Drive in Glen Burnie for a vehicle equipment violation. Officers approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver. While speaking with the driver information was obtained leading officers to search the occupants and the vehicle. The search revealed a loaded Taurus G2C 9mm handgun in the front passenger seat area and 70 capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl on the front seat passenger's person. The driver and passenger were arrested and charged.

CDS; Weapons Violation (Arrest) / Brooklyn Park

On March 25, 2021at approximately 9:46 p.m. Northern District officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Toyota Solara in the area of Virginia Avenue and Church Street in Brooklyn Park. While speaking with the driver the officer received information which led to a search of the vehicle. Located within the vehicle were four green suspected Oxycodone pills and a loaded 9 mm Highpoint handgun containing eight rounds of ammunition. Further investigation revealed the driver was prohibited from possessing firearms. The driver was arrested and found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia (packaging material) and was charged.
