Weapons Violation (Arrest) / Brooklyn Park

On February 22, 2021 at approximately 9:25 p.m. Northern District officers conducted a traffic stop of a gold Ford Taurus in the area of Ballman Avenue and Southerly Road in Brooklyn Park. Upon speaking with the vehicle driver and passenger, the officers received information which led to the recovery of a Sig Sauer Model P238 .380 handgun containing five live rounds of ammunition from the waistband of the front seat passenger who is prohibited from possessing a handgun. The passenger was arrested and charged.

Weapons Violation (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On February 23, 2021 at approximately 12:10 am Eastern District Detectives conducted a traffic stop of a silver Jeep at Greenbranch Lane and Winding Wood Road in Glen Burnie. Upon speaking with the four vehicle occupants, the officer received information which led to a search resulting in the recovery of a loaded 9mm Fabrique Nationale pistol containing five live rounds of ammunition from a bag in possession of one of the passengers. The passenger was arrested and charged. The other occupants were sent on their way.
