Northern District

Stabbing (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On January 14, 2021 at approximately 12:05 p.m. Northern District officers responded to the 300 block of 6th avenue in Glen Burnie for a report of a stabbing. Upon officers arrival, the suspect was located and immediately taken into custody. It was unclear of what the victim and suspect, who are acquaintances, argued about that led up to the assault. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening sharp force injuries to her upper body. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Eastern District

Weapons Violation; CDS Violation (Arrest) / Pasadena

On January 14, 2021 at approximately 6:55 p.m. Eastern District officers were in the area of the 8500 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena when they observed an occupied vehicle parked in Sunset Park, which was closed for the night. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers noticed an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of a Taurus .38 Special loaded with 5 rounds, four small bags of suspected marijuana and a bag containing nine suspected Xanax pills. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Commercial Robbery/ Gambrills

On January 15, 2021 at approximately 3:40 a.m. Western District officers responded to the Krispy Kreme located at 1149 Crain Highway North in Gambrills for a commercial robbery. The suspect entered the business through the rear delivery door, implied he had a handgun and demanded that the victim open the safe. The victim complied, the suspect took money and fled the business in a dark colored vehicle. Several officers responded and canvassed the area with negative results. The Criminal Investigation Division asks anyone with information to call 410-222- 4720 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

Western District

CDS Violation; Search Warrant (Arrest) / Odenton

On January 14, 2021 Western District officers conducted a search and seizure warrant in the 2600 block of Rainy Spring Court in Odenton as a result of a CDS investigation. A search of the residence and vehicle resulted in the recovery of a loaded Glock 23 .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, 100 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, one digital scale, approximately 10.56 grams of suspected Marijuana, 62.36 grams of suspected Cocaine, cutting agent, CDS packaging material and $9,638 U.S. currency. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Armed Subject-Road Rage (BB Gun)/ Severn

On January 14, 2021 at approximately 2:40 p.m. Western District officers responded to the area of MD 100 Westbound at Telegraph road in Severn for a report of an armed subject who waved a handgun at the victim. Officers located the suspect vehicle, a silver Honda Civic. An investigation resulted in the search of the vehicle which led to the recovery of a small black BB gun (with the orange tip cut off) under the back passenger seat and CDS paraphernalia. The juvenile suspect was cited on a Juvenile Citation and released to a parent on scene.

Strong-Arm Robbery / Laurel

21-701563

 

On January 14, 2021 at approximately 1:05 p.m. Western District officers responded for a report of a citizen robbery by force in the area of the 300 block of Old Line Avenue in Laurel. The adult female victim was approached by two male suspects who assaulted her and took her cell phone. The suspects then fled in a dark colored vehicle. No weapons were displayed and no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

1) Black male, 20 - 30 years of age, short, thin build, dreadlocks, wearing dark clothing

2) Black male, thin build, wearing dark clothing
