CDS Violation (Arrest)/ Brooklyn Park

On January 10, 2021 at approximately 1:10 a.m. Northern District officers conducted a traffic stop of a white Chevy Impala in the area of Ritchie highway and 16th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Officers determined the driver was operating the vehicle on a revoked driver’s license and was taken into custody. The passenger was arrested on an open warrant. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a book bag containing a digital scale with residue and packaging material indicative of CDS distribution. A search of the driver resulted in the recovery of 89 glass vials of suspected crack cocaine, 44 plastic containers of suspected crack cocaine, 13 capsules of suspected heroin, and two pieces of Suboxone. The driver was transported to Central Booking and charged accordingly.

Weapons Violation; CDS Violation (Arrest) / Glen Burnie

On January 11, 2021 at approximately 12:00 a.m. Eastern District Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta in the area of Elvaton Road and Shetlands Road in Glen Burnie. Upon speaking with the driver, officers obtained information which led to a search of the the vehicle. The search resulted in the recovery of a loaded CPX2, 9mm handgun, 71.37 grams of suspected CDS marijuana, $700.00 of U.S. currency, ziploc baggies, and digital scales. The driver and passenger were both arrested and charged.

CDS Violation (Arrest) / Annapolis

On January 8, 2021 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Southern District officers responded to the Exxon Gas station at 2069 West Street for the complaint of two subjects passed out in a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. Officers located the vehicle and observed a male and female, who both appeared unresponsive, within the vehicle. Officers knocked on the vehicle window in an attempt to awaken the driver. The driver became coherent and unlocked the door. Officers then observed a clear baggie containing suspected heroin capsules inside the vehicle. A search of the driver resulted in the recovery of 17 capsules of suspected heroin. Both occupants were transported to Central Booking and charged accordingly.
