Theft from Auto; Tampering / Annapolis

On December 9, 2020 at approximately 1:50 a.m. officers responded for a report of a suspicious person tampering with vehicles in the area of the 1800 block of Sunwood Court in Annapolis. Upon arrival officers observed the suspect pull on a vehicle door handle in an apparent attempt to enter the vehicle. The suspect was detained. Investigation revealed the suspect had attempted to enter another vehicle and was responsible for a theft from auto in the area. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Traffic Stop- CDS Violation/ Glen Burnie

On December 8, 2020 at approximately 2:35 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ritchie Highway and Sycamore Drive in Glen Burnie. Officers approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver. Investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of suspected marijuana, unknown pills, suspected suboxone strips, over $500.00 in U.S currency and written instructions on how to sell suboxone. The driver was arrested and charged.

Commercial Robbery (Arrest Update) / Linthicum Heights

On October 31, 2020 at approximately 11:25 p.m. officers responded for an armed robbery at the Shell gas station located at 724 Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights. An unknown male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Robbery detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4720.
Suspect: White male, wearing dark hooded jacket, blue jeans and black knit hat
Arrest Update (12/09/2020):
Through investigation, Robbery Detectives were able to positively identify the suspect involved in this case as Grayson Carl Schroyer III. A warrant was obtained for Schroyer, and he was taken into custody on December 8, 2020 by Howard County Police Department.
