Western District
Handgun Arrest / Laurel

On October 15, 2020 at approximately 8:00 a.m. Western District officers conducted a traffic stop on southbound Baltimore Washington Parkway(295) at Laurel Fort Meade Road. As the officer made contact with the driver an odor of marijuana was detected in the vehicle. As a result of the investigation and interaction with the driver a search of the vehicle revealed a loaded Glock 26 9mm handgun and 12 grams of suspected marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged.

Northern District
Tampering w/Auto Spree Arrest / Glen Burnie

On October 15, 2020 at approximately 9:54 a.m. officers responded to the 7800 block of Americana Circle in Glen Burnie for a Tampering with Auto call. The caller reported a subject in the parking lot attempted to gain access to multiple vehicles. Officers saturated the area, spoke with witnesses, and were able to locate the suspect. The suspect was positively identified by a witness and digital evidence. The suspect was arrested and charged.

Northern District
Shots fired / Brooklyn

On October 16, 2020 at approximately 12:26 p.m. officers responded for a shots fired call in the area of Ivy Lane at North Bend Terrace in Glen Burnie. The victim believed his house was targeted and reported he was riding home on his bike when he observed a white two door sedan with tinted windows drive down the street. The victim stated the car approached his residence, and he heard several shots and the vehicle fled the scene. A lookout for the vehicle was given and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect vehicle and witnesses. Officers located 4 shell casings in the roadway. No one was reported to be injured and no bullet impacts were found on any houses or vehicles along the street. Western District
Armed Robbery of a Citizen / Glen Burnie

On October 15, 2020 at approximately 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the parking lot of 7800 Park West Drive in Glen Burnie for a robbery of a citizen. Upon arrival officers located the victim who advised he made plans to meet an unknown male to purchase shoes via an electronic app.  At the scheduled meeting time the seller contacted the victim and changed the meet/selling location. The victim agreed, responded to the 500 block of Glen Court in Glen Burnie and met the seller.  After utilizing the Cash-App and submitting the payment, the seller/suspect gave the shoes to the victim. The victim began walking away with the shoes when the victim was approached by another male suspect displaying a handgun and demanding the shoes. The victim gave the shoes to the suspect and both the seller/suspect and the second suspect fled on foot. Officers responded to the area and canvassed for suspects and witnesses, but were unsuccessful. Suspect/seller: B/M, approximately 18 to 20 years old, about 6 feet tall, average heigh wearing a black durag, blue face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, with a black backpack, holding a burgundy and black shoe box. 

Suspect 2: B/M, approximately 18 to 20 years old, about 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a black durag, blue face mask, red hooded jacket, and black sweatpants, armed with a black pistol.

Eastern District
Theft-Tampering w/Auto Arrest / Severna Park
20-733614 (6 Vehicles)

On October 16, 2020 at approximately 2:20 a.m. officers responded to the area of Berrywood Road and Topeg Drive in Severna Park for a tampering with auto complaint.  Information received stated the suspect ran from the area after being observed by a witness inside of a car. Officers saturated the area and located a suspect who matched the description. The suspect was positively identified by witnesses and digital evidence. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
