CDS Possession w/Intent to Distribute / Pasadena

On September 22, 2020 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Northern District officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Liberty Circle and Whitaker Road in Pasadena. Upon detectives approaching the vehicle they observed CDS paraphernalia in plain view on the floor of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed CDS paraphernalia was recovered along with a small amount of CDS cocaine. All three subjects were arrested and transported to central booking. A search of one of the suspects produced suspected CDS crack-cocaine from his pants. The detectives then returned to their patrol vehicle and conducted a secondary search of where the suspects were seated during the transport and recovered suspected CDS Crack-cocaine that had been stuffed in the seat. All suspects were charged appropriately.

  • 19 small ziplock baggies containing suspected Crack-Cocaine (4.22 Grams, street value $190.00)
  • 2 Baggies containing suspected Cocaine (2.62 Grams, street value $262.00)
  • 1 Baggie containing 5 suspected CDS Oxycodone pills (.96 Grams, street value $125.00)
  • 1 black digital scale with suspected CDS residue
  • 1 gel capsule with suspected CDS residue
  • $1,054.00 US Currency seized

On September 22, 2020 at approximately 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the Walmart for an armed subject with a knife call. Victims advised that they were involved in a road rage incident in the parking lot with a pedestrian (suspect) who was exiting the Walmart. The victims then report after they parked and walked away from their vehicle, the suspect was observed tampering with their vehicle’s tires. They approached the suspect and he displayed a knife in a threatening manner and then lunged at the victims. Walmart security was summoned to the incident and approached the suspect as he entered a vehicle and exited the parking lot. A tag and vehicle description were provided to the police. The investigation produced the suspect’s residential address. Officers responded to the address to interview the suspect. A search of the suspect’s vehicle revealed a knife and the suspect was positively identified by the victims as the person who threatened them with a weapon. No injuries were observed or reported during this incident.

Citizen Strong-Arm Robbery / Laurel

On September 21, 2020 the victim received an electronic message asking if he wanted to play basketball and he replied "yes".  The victim arrived at the basketball court where he began taking practice shots. While practicing, he was approached from behind by four male suspects. One of the suspects struck the victim with his hand and the others held him down while personal property was removed from his pockets. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim didn't report this incident until September 22, 2020. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Brock Bridge Road in Laurel. The victim was able to describe one of the suspects as an 18 year old Hispanic male. No weapons were used or displayed during the assault. Western District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
