CDS Violation (Arrest) / Brooklyn Park

On July 7, 2020 at approximately 3:45 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Victory Avenue and Townsend Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The driver was found to be in possession of 42 gel caps of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl. Two passengers in the vehicle had open warrants. All three occupants were arrested and transported to Central Booking for processing.

On July 7, 2020 at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle in the middle of the roadway at West Nursery Road and Global Way in Linthicum Heights. The driver was arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of 44.63 grams of suspected CDS crystal methamphetamine and CDS paraphernalia. The driver was charged accordingly.

Western District Shots Fired / Severn 20-721058 On July 6, 2020 at approximately 11:10 p.m. officers responded for a report of shots fired in the 8500 block of Golden Eagle Lane in Severn. Upon arrival officers observed a bullet lodged into the front of the residence. Officers canvassed the area and spoke with witnesses who reported hearing gunshots but did not see anyone firing a weapon. No injuries were reported.
