ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
Public Hearing and Final Deliberations – Friday, June 12, 2020

BILL NO. 26-20 - AN ORDINANCE concerning: Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of Anne Arundel County - FOR the purpose of adopting the County Budget, consisting of the Current Expense Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, the Capital Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, the Capital Program for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2021, June 30, 2022, June 30, 2023, June 30, 2024, June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026; and appropriating funds for all expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2021.
The County Executive has proposed amendments to the budget ordinance. Copies of the proposed amendments are available on the County’s web site at www.aacounty.org, and are available by calling the Council Office at 410-222-1401 or emailing jgray@aacounty.org.
Final action will be taken by the County Council on the Anne Arundel County budget for FY 2021 Friday, June 12, 2020 beginning at 9:00 A.M. via virtual meeting.
There is no public attendance. Please see the County Council Website for information on how to view or listen to the meeting and how to submit testimony electronically via the on-line Budget Testimony Tool. Written testimony may also be dropped off at the Arundel Center (44 Calvert Street) in the Council Meeting Testimony Dropbox located next to the lower level entrance doors on the Northwest Street side of the building.
At the same meeting, the County Council will adopt the County budget and set the Property Tax Rates for Fiscal Year 2021.
