On May 20, 2020 at approximately 7:10 a.m. officers responded for a delayed reporting of a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Ritchie Highway. Investigation revealed, somewhere around 2:00 a.m., a subject entered the store with a mask and hoodie. The suspect handed the clerk a note demanding money and stood with his hands in his hoodie; implying he had a weapon. The clerk did not comply and the subject left. The Robbery Unit assumed the investigation and identified the below subject as the suspect. Officers and supervision responded to Timbuktu Restaurant at 1726 Dorsey Road for an armed robbery in progress. Two suspects entered the business and announced a robbery. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle. On May 27, 2020 at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 2129 Defense Highway for a commercial robbery. An unknown suspect entered the store armed with a long gun. The suspect took currency, lottery tickets as well as various other property. Prior to leaving the store, the suspect pepper sprayed the clerk and fled the scene.
