On May 1, 2020 at 11:55 a.m. a victim approached an officer who was patrolling the Stillmeadows Community to report damage to his motor vehicle. Further investigation revealed three vehicles parked in the area of Consett Court and Stillmeadows Drive had been damaged by gunfire. Officers spoke with a resident who stated they heard several gunshots earlier in the morning, but didn’t know where they came from. Officers continue to patrol the neighborhood and ask anyone with information to contact Western District at 410-222-6155.

On May 2, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m. officers responded for a call for a possible shots fired at a residence located in the 5900 block of Rockhold Creek Road in Deale. Officers arrived and determined the suspect and victim were engaged in an argument when the suspect fired one round from a shotgun. Officers located the suspect and placed him in custody. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The shotgun was recovered by officers. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Southern District Detective Unit at 410-222-1960.

On May 2, 2020 at approximately 1:10 p.m. officers responded to Oakdale Circle in Millersville for an assault. Witnesses reported a male was speeding through the neighborhood in a blue Chevy Silverado. When a homeowner attempted to get the driver to slow down, the driver displayed a shotgun and racked it. The vehicle then drove off and the victim retreated to her residence. The vehicle returned and a second victim attempted to get the driver to slow down by holding his hand out. The driver then swerved toward the victim and struck him with the vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver. The shotgun was located and recovered from the vehicle. On May 2, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m. officers responded to Anne Arundel Medical Center for a stabbing. An adult victim took a taxi to the Annapolis hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound. Detectives responded and the victim could only advise the incident occurred somewhere in Glen Burnie. The victim was unable to give any additional details. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed an altercation in Glen Burnie to please call the TipLine at 410-222-4700.

On May 3, 2020 at approximately 4:00 a.m. officers were patrolling in the Stillmeadows Community in Severn when they heard several shots fired. While searching the area, a call was dispatched to Durness Court for shots fired. Officers observed an unknown male running from a parked vehicle but were unable to locate him. Upon searching the area, officers located a Glock, Model 27, .40 Caliber handgun, three .40 caliber shell casings, one .45 caliber shell casing and an empty Smith & Wesson .40 caliber ammunition box. Officers continued to search the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No damage was located.

Citizen Robbery / Laurel

On May 3, 2020 at approximately 4:50 a.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen at the Exxon located at 3384 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel. The victim was approached by two unknown male suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and told the victim not to get into his vehicle. Both suspects entered the victim’s vehicle, a black 2017 Ford Escape, and fled westbound on Laurel Fort Meade Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspect.
