On April 19, 2020 at approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of Crystal Brook Way and Shade Brook Road in Hanover for multiple calls of shots heard in the area. Further investigation revealed a homeowner in the 7800 block Crystal Brook advised they received a knock on their door from an unknown male subject. When the door was opened, the male allegedly shot into the residence. A neighborhood canvass revealed several witnesses who advised numerous people and vehicles were seen leaving the immediate area. Evidence of a shooting was located, there were no injuries reported with this incident. This does not appear to be a random act of violence.
