Annapolis, MD (April 8, 2020) The Anne Arundel County Council has scheduled an emergency legislative session of the Council to be held Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to introduce emergency legislation that allows for important funding during the state of emergency. The meeting will be a virtual meeting conducted via Zoom. Details for the public to watch and listen will be shared on the County website before April 14, 2020.
The emergency ordinance introduced at the April 14th emergency legislative session will be heard and voted at the Council’s regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Monday, April 20, 2020 beginning at 7:00 p.m. This will also be a virtual meeting and instructions for public viewing and participation will be provided ahead of time. A copy of the emergency ordinance will be available immediately after introduction on the County Council website.
