On March 21, 2020 at approximately 1:00 a.m. officers responded for a report of an assault at The Cromwell Shopping Center parking lot located at 7387 Baltimore and Annapolis Boulevard. The 60 year old male victim was seated on the curb when he was approached by a male who assaulted him with a knife, cutting his pants. The victim provided a description of the suspect. Through investigation, officers identified the suspect and applied for charges. The suspect was taken into custody on March 21, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. and transported to Northern District for processing. The victim did not report any injuries as a result of this incident.

Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie

On March 22, 2020 at approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to the Sun Valley Shopping Center located at 7941 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a robbery that occurred an hour earlier. The 38-year-old female victim was in the parking lot of the shopping center when she was approached from behind by an unknown male suspect who pressed a hard object against her back and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspect fled to the rear of the shopping center. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Northern District detectives are investigating this incident and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-6135 or the TipLine.

Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie

On March 22, 2020 at approximately 9:50 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the area of Heritage Hill and Allen Road in Glen Burnie. A food delivery driver was delivering food at a residence in the 6400 block of Jefferson Place when he was approached by an unknown black male suspect. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
