Annapolis, MD (January 27, 2020) - The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce free workshops provided by the Living Well Program. This is an evidence-based chronic disease self-management program that provides adults 18 and older who have long-lasting health conditions with ideas to help them take charge of their health and live active and enjoyable lives.
Workshops to be offered:
Living Well with Hypertension is a workshop available for people who have been diagnosed with hypertension (high blood pressure) and want to learn how to better manage their condition.

Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a workshop available for people who have any chronic health conditions or a caregiver to someone with a chronic health conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, or other ongoing health conditions. The focus of this workshop is to help participants who have one or more chronic health conditions to better self-manage their health. This is a six week workshop that meets once a week for 2.5 hours.

All workshops are presented at no cost to the public by the Living Well Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, but registration is required.
