Robbery/Glen Burnie
On January 16, 2020, at approximately 9:50 p.m. officers responded to the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie for a robbery of a delivery driver. The driver was delivering food to an address when he was assaulted by three black males (no further description was able to be obtained.) Property belonging to the victim as well as an undisclosed amount of US Currency was taken. The suspects also took the victim's vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Officers along with K9 canvassed the area with negative results. The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Eastern District Detectives are handling this incident. Northern District
CDS Violation/Pasadena
On January 17, 2020 at approximately 1:30 a.m. detectives from Northern District's Tactical Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop on Whitaker Road near Shirley Murphy Road. During that stop probable cause was developed to search the vehicle. Detectives located a multi-color "Mario and Luigi" black baggie containing suspected CDS marijuana. Detectives then located a fast food beverage cup in the cup holder in the vehicle. Upon opening the lid of the cup detectives observed a clear plastic bag containing approximately two ounces of suspected CDS cocaine. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was arrested and transported to Northern for processing. The CDS marijuana had an approximate weight with packaging of 2.87 grams with a street value of approximately $57.40. The CDS cocaine had a total approximate weight with packaging of 60.73 grams with an approximate street value of $6,073.00.
This investigation was a coordinated effort under the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network (MCIN). The Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP) provides grant funding and strategic support to MCIN member sites to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal organizations through inter-agency collaboration and data sharing to make Maryland safer.
