Northern District
Home Invasion/Shooting
On November 7, 2019 at approximately 07:30 in the morning officers received a call for a home invasion in the 700 block of Nabbs Creek Road. The homeowner advised he was outside tending to his chickens when he heard a commotion inside his house. The male homeowner ran inside and saw his wife in a physical struggle with two men. The male homeowner retrieved his shotgun and shot one of the suspects as they attempted to flee. The subject that was shot is at an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other suspect is still outstanding, he is described as a white male. The female homeowner suffered minor injuries and is being treated at an area hospital.

Eastern District
Handgun & CDS Arrest/Glen Burnie
On November 6, 2019, at 7:19 p.m. Eastern District Officers were in the area of 7535 Solley Road in Glen Burnie when they noticed an occupied vehicle in the closed park. Officers made contact with and were able to develop probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle officers located a loaded Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun with 12 rounds in the magazine. They also located approximately 21 grams of suspected powder cocaine which has a street value of approximately $1000. Both subjects were charged accordingly.

Southern District
Handgun & CDS Arrest/Annapolis
On November 6, 2019 at approximately 2:00 p.m. an officer from Southern District witnessed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The officer initiated a traffic stop at Cherry Grove Avenue and Forest Avenue. A police K-9 scanned the vehicle and gave probable cause for a search. During the search a .22 caliber loaded semi-automatic pistol was recovered. The suspect/driver was transported to Southern District Station for booking. While the suspect was being searched at the station two small baggies of suspected CDS were recovered from his person. There was a juvenile passenger in the vehicle who was also charged with the handgun related offenses.
