Shooting/Glen Burnie
On September 10, 2019 at approximately 1:00 am, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 300 block of Highland Drive in reference to a report of gunshots. Simultaneously, personnel from the Baltimore Washington Medical Center called to report that an adult male subject just arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his head. Officers responded to the hospital and confirmed the subject at the hospital was related to the shots fired call on Highland Drive. The victim received a graze wound to the back of his head; the injury was classified as non-life threatening.
