Bill 59-17

FOR the purpose of repealing the definition of "potentially dangerous animal" and other relevant references; adding a definition of "vicious animal "; amending the public safety threat provisions to include dangerous and vicious animals; amending the dangerous animal order provisions and conditions to be considered; allowing the impoundment or destruction of vicious and dangerous animals; prohibiting the keeping of vicious animals in the County; establishing a dangerous animal registry in the County; amending the provision regarding confidentiality of records of violations to include the dangerous animal registry; adding conditions that allow the impoundment of animals; amending the provision regarding disposition of animals to include dangerous and vicious animals; and generally relating to Animal Control.
