When delineation of non-tidal floodplain with a development project is required, it should meet section 7.8.2. of the Stormwater Management Practices and Procedures Manual:
The purpose of the attached memo is to provide notice that when floodplain delineation is required, the design professional should provide certain information to the county so it can be used to map floodplains in the county’s Geographic Information System.
This requirement applies to all floodplain studies submitted after the date of the attached memo.
