Quiet Waters Park Pavilion Rentals

Pavilions can be rented for large outdoor parties and cook-outs. All groups over 20 people must rent a pavilion when gathering in the park. Quiet Waters Park offers six different outdoor pavilions. 

Maryland Department of Natural Resources Enacts Statewide Burn Ban

Effective immediately, The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has imposed a statewide open air burning ban in Maryland as of November 1, 2024. This ban applies to all counties in the state and includes campfires and charcoal grilling. The ban will remain in place until the Maryland Forest Service determines that the state has received enough precipitation to reduce the threat of wildfires.

Quiet Waters Park offers two small and three large covered pavilions that are equipped with grills and picnic tables. Reservations for pavilions must be made in advance through the Quiet Waters Park office. Contact the park office at (410) 222-1777 for additional information.

Dogwood Pavilion (Small)

The Dogwood pavilion has a maximum capacity of 50 people. There are two large picnic tables and six small picnic tables, as well as one large grill available. Organized games are not recommended nearby, but you may set up horseshoes, volleyball, and badminton in the field to the south of the large playground. The closest accessible restrooms are available at the Visitor Center, which is a 2 - 3 minute walk. Boat rentals are 6-minutes away, down the adjacent Harness Creek foot path.

Holly Pavilion (Small)

Holly Pavilion has a maximum capacity of 50 people. There are two large picnic table, and six small picnic tables, as well as one large grill available. It is a perfect place to set up horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, and softball games. The closest accessible restroom are available at the Visitor Center, which is a 3 - 5 minute walk.

Red Maple Pavilion (Large)

The Red Maple Pavilion has a maximum capacity of 100 people. There are 12 large picnic tables, as well as two large grills available. A small children’s playground is shared nearby your pavilion with the Sassafras Pavilion. Restrooms and a telephone are conveniently located at a nearby comfort station. Located behind the pavilion is the perfect place for a game of horseshoes, however, volleyball, badminton, and softball games can be organized at a large field across the street.

Sassafras Pavilion (Large)
Sassafras pavilion has a maximum capacity of 100 people. There are twelve large picnic tables, and two small picnic tables, as well as two large grills available. There is also a double-sided fireplace with grills in the center. A small children's playground is shared nearby your picnic pavilion by the Red Maple pavilion. Restrooms and a telephone are located at a comfort station nearby. It is a perfect place to set up horseshoes, however volleyball, badminton, and softball games must be organized at a large field across the street.
 
Sycamore Pavilion (Large)
Sycamore Pavilion has a maximum capacity of 100 people. There are twelve large picnic tables, and two small picnic tables, as well as two large grills available. There is also a double-sided fireplace with grills in the center. A small playground is nearby and a large playground across the street. White Oak Pavilion (Large)
White Oak pavilion has a maximum capacity of 100 people. There are twelve large picnic tables, and two small picnic tables, as well as two large grills available.
