About
The Assisted Living Program monitors the services residents receive in small (4-16 bed) assisted living facilities to ensure that residents receive appropriate care and services, and also administers a subsidy program to help individuals afford the cost of assisted living.
- Assist adults with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating and grooming)
- Provide 24 hour supervision
- Manage medications
- Provide social activities
- How to choose the right facility for your family member
- How to evaluate the quality of a facility
- Information on fees and services available
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Resident must live in Assisted Living facility with 4 to 16 beds
- Income and Asset eligibility requirements must be met
- Residents must be 62 years of age or older
- Residents must be evaluated for personal care needs
