Annapolis, MD (June 28, 2023) – The Pasadena Senior Activity Center, 4103 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD will be closed on Thursday, June 29th and Friday, June 30th, due to damages sustained during a fire today. No one was hurt; all staff and center members were evacuated safely. Damage assessment and evaluations are ongoing and a plan to reopen is being formulated. Updates will be provided as they are made available.
Members are encouraged and welcome to visit other centers for available programming while the Pasadena Senior Activity Center is temporarily closed. The Pasadena Senior Activity Center is one of eight senior activity centers operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities. All other centers will be operating on a normal schedule on Thursday and Friday.
