Assault - Glen Burnie

On April 20, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m., detectives were on routine patrol in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Eastern Street in Glen Burnie when they witnessed an assault. As detectives were patrolling the area they observed the occupants of a black Nissan sedan pointing the barrels of replica/toy firearms and appeared to be shooting water/gel beads and random citizens. Detectives made contact with the occupants of the sedan and subsequent to that discovered a loaded black semi-automatic handgun in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. During their investigation, detectives learned that none of the citizens that were involved were struck by any of the water/gel beads that were fired and as a result, there were no injuries reported. One occupant of the vehicle claimed ownership of the firearm and was arrested and charged accordingly.
