Shooting (Non-Contact) - Brooklyn

On April 7, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of a non-contact shooting that occurred overnight in the 5100 block of Ballman Avenue in Brooklyn. The complainant advised that on April 6th between 10:00-10:30 p.m., they heard what they believed to be 5-7 gunshots. Just prior to 8:00 a.m. on April 7th, the complainant located 6 spent casings in the street in close proximity to their residence. There were no reported physical injuries or property damage as a result of the shooting. Shooting (Non-contact) - Severn

On April 8, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of a non-contact shooting in the 1800 block of Dove Court in Severn. When officers arrived they located 5 spent shell casings in the roadway. Upon closer inspection officers found that at least one projectile struck a vacant residence. There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the shooting. Robbery (Commercial) - Jessup

On April 9, 2023, at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred at the Shell Station, 2753 Annapolis Road in Jessup. When officers arrived, the victim advised the suspect entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded currency. The victim complied and placed an undetermined amount of currency in a bag, which the suspect brought with them. The suspect fled the store and climbed into the passenger seat of a waiting white Hyundai sedan, and drove off on Annapolis Road towards Baltimore Washington Parkway. Suspect: black male, possibly 20’s, 5’10” - 6’00”, thin build, last seen wearing a dark gray jacket with back sleeves and hood, white pants, and a black facemask.
