On March 23, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation in the area of Annapolis Road and Blue Water Boulevard in Odenton. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, detectives located a civil amount of suspected marijuana and a loaded semi-automatic handgun. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Aggravated Assault - Crofton

On March 23, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of an aggravated assault in the 900 block of Eastham Court in Crofton. The victim stated that they approached five black male juveniles and confronted them about smoking CDS in the hallways of the building. As the victim left and got into his vehicle, three of the juveniles approached his vehicle, so he rolled down his window to speak with them. One of the juvenile males pulled out a knife and placed it to the victim's throat, and threatened him. After making the threat, the suspects piled into two separate vehicles and fled.
