**ATTENTION RESIDENTS**
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is looking for your feedback.
SHA has 3 proposed pilots for the US 50 access roads on the Broadneck Peninsula for this summer. Based on your feedback, they will decide which ones to move forward with for a PILOT this summer.
***PLEASE USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS AT THE END OF THIS POST FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEEDBACK - COMMENTS HERE WILL NOT BE SEEN BY SHA***
Please keep in mind that we can only work to find solutions to our local road traffic backups by trying available options. Without these PILOT trials, we remain in a status quo of gridlock during peak months or when there is no contraflow over the Bay Bridge. That is not a way for our peninsula to move forward.
An important update, after much communication SHA, others and I have had with our federal elected leaders, it has been determined that SHA CAN restrict ramp access, which has led to some of these pilot proposals.
