Carjacking - Glen Burnie

On September 17, 2023, at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded for a report of an armed carjacking in the 100 block of Governors Court in Glen Burnie. The 27-year-old female victim advised that when she exited her vehicle, she was approached by a black male suspect wearing a ski mask, a black hoodie, and black pants. The suspect displayed a silver and black revolver and pointed it at the victim's chest, causing the victim to drop her keys and other belongings. The suspect retrieved the victim's keys and property, entered the victim's 2021 white Nissan Versa, and drove from the area. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect or the vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Western District
Citizen Robbery - Laurel

On September 16, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery of a citizen in the 100 block of Charlotte Drive in Laurel. The victim advised that he posted pictures of shoes he was selling on his Instagram and was contacted by the suspects, who are known to the victim. The victim arranged to meet the suspects to purchase the shoes. During the exchange, the suspects became aggressive with the victim, pointed a black handgun at him, took his property, and fled. The suspects were located by officers and placed under arrest.
