Assault / CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On September 26, 2023, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded for an assault at a residence on Gatewood Court in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed that a dispute originated at a residence in the 400 block of Hardmoore Court, where a 31-year-old male and a 27-year-old female were assaulted and threatened with a handgun. The victims fled the residence to a house on Gatewood Court. One of the suspects followed the victims and continued to assault them and a 13-year-old female at the Gatewood Court address and attempted to force his way into the home. Responding officers located the suspect at the Gatewood Court location and took him into custody. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence on Hardmoore Court, where two other suspects in the assault were located and apprehended. The search resulted in the seizure of evidence of the assault, including a metal bat and a replica handgun. Also seized during the search were 34 syringes of suspected Morphine, two digital scales, six small clear containers with a white powdery residue of suspected cocaine, two white bottles labeled "Morphine Sulfate," and a pill bottle with an obliterated prescription label containing 20 white oval pills of suspected Tramadol Hydrochloridewhite (50 Mg). All suspects were charged accordingly.

Strong-Arm Robbery (Citizen) - Hanover

On September 26, 2023, at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers responded for a report of a strong-arm robbery at the Red Roof Inn located at 7306 Parkway Drive South in Hanover. The 51-year-old female victim advised that three male suspects entered her room when she opened the door, expecting her food delivery. Once inside the victim’s room, one of the male suspects strangled the victim and displayed a knife, demanding the victim’s banking information. After the suspects transferred a large amount of U.S. currency from the victim’s bank accounts, the victim was then locked in the bathroom. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim was treated on scene by fire personnel for non-life-threatening injuries. Citizen Robbery- Laurel

On September 27, 2023, at approximately 12:33 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 400 block of Brock Bridge Road in Laurel. Upon arrival, the victim advised that his vehicle had a flat tire, and he was on the shoulder fixing it when a white or silver sedan stopped near him. Three unknown black males, in their 20s, wearing all-black clothing, got out of the vehicle and demanded property from the victim. One of the suspects struck the victim's head with a handgun. The suspects took several items from the victim and from the victim's vehicle and fled the area. Western District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155.
