Virtual Meeting
A virtual public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. via the ZOOM.US platform. During the meeting, DPW will discuss the proposed stream restoration construction in the unnamed northern and southern tributaries to Sloop Cove. The streams are located near High Oak Road, Stone Haven Drive, and Quiet Cove Road. Construction is anticipated to begin late October 2023 and be complete by April 2024. Work is expected to take place during normal work hours Monday through Friday. You may see and hear construction vehicles and equipment in the area and work equipment in the back of your property in and along the stream. Road closure is not anticipated; there will be no impacts to traffic patterns.
