Jennifer Purcell, PhD

Jennifer has been part of County Executive Pittman’s team since 2018, initially serving as his Chief of Staff. She has managed multiple county-wide projects, spearheading a two-year strategic planning process, the GVPTF, JCOG, Community Support Grants, and youth programs among others.

Jennifer holds graduate degrees in higher education administration and adult education from the University of South Florida and brings experience in project management and evaluation, grant writing, communications, and program development within education, nonprofits and local government.

Her favorite tasks, no matter what role she’s been in, are building new things and helping others succeed. After 30 years, she says she’s found her dream job.
