There are many great resources available to nonprofit organizations in the county. The Nonprofit Center is just one. We are partnering with other local agencies and groups to ensure nonprofits are aware of everything that is available to help them better fulfill their missions.

The School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development offers courses related to nonprofit leadership each semester.
Dr. Felicia Patterson, Vice President for Learner Support Services serves on the Nonprofit Center Advisory Committee.
AACPL is a resource center for the local grant-seeking community. Organizations and individuals can connect to Candid Learning, the Foundation Directory Online, and Guidestar. The library also offers 137 nonprofit-focused books (and 377 eBooks) in their circulating collection and staff assistance with research and technology. Catherine Hollerbach, Chief Operating Officer, serves on the Nonprofit Center Advisory Committee.
ACDS’s primary mission is to create affordable housing opportunities and improve the lives of low income individuals through community development. The organization manages several grant programs - including the Community Support Grant program - for Anne Arundel County, and their Chief Executive Officer, Erin Karpewicz, serves on the Nonprofit Center Advisory Committee.
The Community Foundation has connected causes that matter with people who care for 25 years. The team offers training workshops to nonprofit leaders and administers several grant programs. Kristen Krall, CFAAC’s Community Education Coordinator, serves on the Nonprofit Center Advisory Committee.
