Police Press Release - December 28, 2023

On December 27, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the El Norteno Grill located at 602 North Crain Highway in Glen Burnie in reference to shots fired. An employee stated that a patron who had just left the establishment fired several gunshots into the air and fled in a blue sedan with another male. Both subjects were described as Hispanic males. On December 28, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded for a non-contact shooting in the 8000 block of Green Orchard Road in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed the 23-year-old victim was in his blue 2019 Tesla when two juvenile male suspects, dressed in all black, displayed handguns and attempted to rob him. The victim accelerated, struck two parked vehicles, and fled on foot. One of the suspects fired a round at the victim, missing him. Officers located a spent shell casing and the projectile at the scene.
