Weapons Offense - Glen Burnie

On January 6, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a green Honda Accord on Ritchie Highway near Warfield Road in Glen Burnie. The officer noticed signs of impairment by alcohol and, during the investigation, discovered the driver had a firearm concealed in his pants. The driver resisted arrest and reached for the handgun as the officer attempted to place him in custody. With the assistance of another officer, the driver was able to be restrained. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On January 5, 2024, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers responded to Bank of America located at 2001 Davidsonville Road in Crofton. The victim went inside the bank and withdrew money. As the victim exited the bank, he was approached by two unknown male suspects who displayed handguns. The suspects robbed the victim of his money and fled in a blue sedan, which was driven by a third suspect. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects.
