Fundraising and Sustainability Cohort Banner

Program Details:

As the nonprofit sector and funding options evolve, it's crucial for organizations to diversify their revenue sources to secure long-term viability. To support this effort, the Nonprofit Center, in collaboration with the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC), is launching a cohort program which will include five in-person, group sessions (2.5 hours each), and up to 3 hours of 1:1 consultation with each organization by phone/online platform. These classes will be conducted on Wednesdays between October 23 and November 20th.

This initiative is designed for 501(c)(3) organizations looking to create or refine their fundraising and resource development strategies. The program features a blend of in-person sessions and private 1:1 consulting for teams of up to three individuals from 10 participating organizations.

The curriculum will be customized for these two separate cohorts. The depth of each topic will vary by cohort and tailored to meet the needs of participants.

  1. Smaller, more recently established nonprofits who have received their 501(c)(3) designation fewer than five years ago, employ fewer than three full-time paid employees and/or have an operating budget less than $250K.

  2. Mid-size, more established nonprofits who employ more than three full-time paid employees and/or have an operating budget more than $250K

Please note: The Nonprofit Center will have discretion to finalize the admission into one of the two cohorts based on the application pool.
