The Office of Planning and Zoning is enacting temporary operational changes during the coronavirus public health emergency. Executive Order 19, signed by Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman on April 14, 2020, allows County board and commission meetings to occur virtually by video throughout the duration of the “stay at home” directive from Governor Hogan that prohibits public gatherings during the emergency. In compliance with Executive Order 19, the Office of Planning and Zoning will virtually engage with boards and commissions via video meeting platforms, as feasible, to accomplish group objectives.
