AACoPD Officer To Reunite With Child 11 Years After Near Drowning

It was a hot summer day in July of 2011 when an Anne Arundel County Police detective responded to a home in Glen Burnie for a drowning. When he arrived, the detective encountered a lifeless 14-month-old child. The situation became increasingly urgent with each passing minute. The detective performed life-saving CPR and provided the crucial elements vital for the child’s survival. Tomorrow, the now Lieutenant will be surprised as he and the now 12-year-old child are reunited.
