Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Burglary - Millersville

On April 13, 2022, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to Worth A Shot (a firearm retailer) on Veterans Highway for a side glass burglary alarm. The first officer on the scene observed a vehicle had crashed through the business. That officer then encountered three suspects inside, attempting to steal firearms from the display cases. One suspect was taken into custody as the other two fled. When additional officers arrived, the other two suspects were located a short distance away and taken into custody; one was in possession of a loaded handgun. The vehicle used to crash through the business was reported stolen through a neighboring jurisdiction in an armed carjacking just hours prior to this burglary. Detectives from our Criminal Investigation Division Firearms Unit are investigating and ask anyone with any information to call 410-222-4700.

Northern District
Road Rage/First Degree Assault - Glen Burnie

On April 12, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m. there was a walk-in report of an assault with a motor vehicle/road-rage incident at the Northern District Station in Brooklyn. The victim stated they were driving on Dorsey Road near Aviation Blvd. when a Fire Engine in emergency status drove passed them. The victim stated he pulled to the side of the road in front of another vehicle that did the same. The driver of the other vehicle got out and began to yell at the victim for stopping in front of him, rather than behind him. The suspect then got back into his vehicle and rammed the victim's vehicle twice. The victim began driving to the police station with the suspect following him. The suspect fled the area once they realized the victim pulled into the police station. The suspect was located a short distance away, he was arrested and charged with the incident.
