Carjacking / Kidnapping - Glen Burnie

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers responded to Crew Boats To Go, located at 6211 Old Pennington Avenue in Baltimore, for a carjacking complaint that occurred in Anne Arundel County. The adult female victim reported that at approximately 2:30 a.m., she was dropping off a friend in the 300 block of Milton Avenue in Glen Burnie when she was approached by two suspects. The victim described the suspects as a white male in his 40s with short brown hair and a heavy-set white female with light brown hair, missing a front tooth. The victim went on to say that the female suspect dragged her from the vehicle, and with the assistance of the male suspect, they threw her in the trunk. While the victim was in the trunk, the vehicle was driven away from Milton Avenue. The vehicle came to a stop on Pennington Avenue above Curtis Creek. The victim was pulled from the trunk and thrown over the side of the bridge and into Curtis Creek. Both suspects fled in the victim's vehicle, a black 2012 Mercedes 550 sedan. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 1) White male, 35-40 years old, with short light brown hair.

First-Degree Assault (Handgun) - Glen Burnie

On April 16, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of an armed subject in the area of Marley Neck Boulevard and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. The caller advised that there were subjects on dirt bikes and ATVs in the roadway and that one of the subjects was pointing a handgun at passing vehicles. Officers observed the group that the caller described in the area of Marley Neck Boulevard and Ft. Smallwood Road. Officers initiated a traffic stop and were able to stop one of the dirt bikes. The operator of the dirtbike that officers were able to speak with was not in possession of a firearm. The remaining dirtbike/ATV fled on Ft. Smallwood Road. Stabbing - Odenton

On April 16, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie for an adult male victim who walked into the emergency room with stab wounds. The victim was found in the parking lot of the New Star Inn, 1680 Annapolis Road in Odenton, and driven to the hospital. Officers responded to the area where the victim was found and were unable to establish a crime scene. Officers, assisted by detectives, were not able to determine a suspect or motive. Southern District
Robbery (Strong Arm) - Edgewater

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of a strong-arm robbery that just occurred in the area of Shore Drive and Havre de Grace Drive in Edgewater. During their investigation, officers learned that a group of three juveniles, who were known to each other, were “hanging out” when one of the juveniles began pulling at a cross-body bag that the victim was wearing. The suspect continued to pull at the bag while punching the victim repeatedly. After obtaining the bag, the suspect removed money from the bag and fled on foot with the other juvenile. Officers were able to locate both juvenile suspects, and both were charged accordingly.
