Shooting - Glen Burnie

On April 16, 2022, at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers responded for a report of gunshots in the area of Leonard Drive and Albert Drive in Glen Burnie. A witness observed a suspect in a black Ford SUV firing the rounds from the vehicle.  A 21-year-old male victim arrived a short time later at Harbor Hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A house located in the 1200 block of Leonard Drive was damaged by a projectile.  Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On April 15, 2022, at approximately 10:50 a.m. Northern District detectives observed an individual with outstanding arrest warrants accessing a vehicle in the 100 block of Chesapeake Center Court in Glen Burnie. Detectives placed the suspect in custody. Upon searching the suspect and vehicle, detectives seized 22 suspected Suboxone strips,  34 suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, approximately 1 gram of suspected crack cocaine, approximately .32 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, 11,000 empty gel capsules, a pill press, and $1150.00 in U.S. currency. The suspect was charged accordingly.

Robbery - Glen Burnie

On April 15, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded for a robbery that had occurred thirty minutes earlier in the area of Nolpark Drive and Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie. The 52-year-old male victim was approached by three suspects, described by the victim as Black males in their early 20s. One of the suspects pressed a handgun against the victim’s back while the others removed personal property from the victim’s clothing.  The suspects then rode off on bicycles toward Nolpark Drive.  Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Weapons Violation - Pasadena

On April 15, 2022, at approximately 11:40 p.m., an officer stopped a gray 2012 Nissan in the area of Route 100 and Catherine Avenue in Pasadena for a traffic violation. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer observed a handgun inside the vehicle.  The driver was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms and was arrested and charged.  The loaded 9mm Polymer 80 handgun was seized.
