Shots Fired / Severn

On 4/2/20 at approximately 2:35 a.m., officers responded for a report of shots fired at a residence located in the 8200 block of Dunfield Court in Severn. The victims reported that they heard several gunshots, and the sound of breaking glass. Witnesses observed a dark colored vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Investigation revealed several rounds were fired into the residence from the parking lot. Numerous officers canvassed the area with negative results. There were no injuries. Southern District
Citizen Robbery / Annapolis

On April 1, 2020 at approximately 7:50 p.m. officers responded for a citizen robbery in the parking lot of the Giant grocery store located at 2323 Forest Drive in Annapolis. An unknown male suspect approached a 42 year old female victim and attempted to remove her purse and property. The suspect was unable to obtain the victim’s purse, but was able to steal other property. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No weapons were displayed and no injuries were reported during this incident. Theft from Auto (Arrest) / Annapolis

On April 1, 2020 at approximately 7:00 a.m. officers responded for a suspicious subject checking vehicles in the 400 block of Holly Drive in Annapolis. Officers located a subject matching the suspect description provided by the witness who positively identified the suspect. Investigation revealed the suspect had entered two vehicles and removed property. The suspect, a juvenile, was charged on a juvenile citation and released to his guardians.
