Officers responded to the area of Williamsburg Lane for a theft from auto that just occurred. The victim and witness advised they watched the suspect enter the victim’s unsecured vehicle, remove a bag containing his property, and flee the scene on foot. Officers located a subject matching the suspect description nearby. The subject was positively identified, the suspect was arrested and transported to Western District.
