Attempted Robbery (Citizen) - Brooklyn Park

On April 4, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Hilltop Road West in Brooklyn Park for an attempted citizen robbery. The 51-year-old male victim was visiting a friend at the home when he was approached by a male suspect who started punching him repeatedly in the face while demanding money from him. When the suspect realized the victim had no money, he fled. The victim declined medical treatment.
