Commercial Robbery - Laurel

On April 7, 2022, at approximately 9:45 p.m. officers responded to the Dollar Tree located at 3401 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel for an armed commercial robbery. An unknown male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect threatened to shoot the employee if the employee did not comply. The employee handed the suspect an undetermined amount of currency and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Western District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
