Robbery (Commercial) - Glen Burnie

On July 30, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers responded for a report of robbery that just occurred at Chipotle at 4 Mountain Road in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that a single suspect entered an unsecured rear door of the business after closing. The suspect displayed a handgun and directed employees to the office/safe where he demanded money. The suspect fled out the same door toward Americana Circle. Shooting (Non-contact) - Glen Burnie

On July 30, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m. officers responded for a report of a shooting at Cedar Morris Hill Park at 351 Arundel Corporation Road in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that a large party was being held at the park. A large crowd was dispersing as officers were arriving, and everyone was largely uncooperative. Numerous shell casings were found in the parking lot as well as the neighborhood behind the park. Officers located several vehicles that were struck by projectiles in the parking lot. No physical injuries were reported. Police Impersonator - Glen Burnie

On July 31, 2022, at approximately 11:30 a.m. officers received a call for a report of a police impersonator that occurred around 1:00 a.m. in the area of westbound MD Route 100 at Governor Ritchie Hwy in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that the victim was in the area when they observed a black Mercedes-Benz weaving through lanes of traffic. The Mercedes got behind the victim and activated a blue & red flashing light that was located in the area of their windshield. When the victim pulled over the Mercedes pulled beside them, rolled down their window, and indicated that they were “a cop” and then drove away. On 8/1/2022 at approximately 4:30 a.m. officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred at the McDonald’s at 6906 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Officers learned that a black Nissan sedan pulled up to the drive-thru window. The rear occupant got out and conducted a transaction at the window. While the cash register drawer was open the suspect displayed a handgun and took the cash drawer. The suspect got back into the car and the vehicle fled the business. Eastern District
Burglary (Attempt) - Pasadena

On July 31, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m. officers responded for a report of a possible burglary in progress in the 8100 block of Tower Bridge Road in Pasadena. The homeowner advised he saw individuals in his backyard and they placed something over his surveillance camera. Officers arrived on the scene and encountered two individuals leaving the rear yard of the residence. Upon seeing the officers the suspects fled on foot. One suspect is believed to have entered a waiting vehicle on Hog Neck Road and the second suspect eluded officers on foot. Upon inspection of the rear of the residence involved, officers located burglar's tools and a loaded black handgun. Western District
CDS Violation - Hanover

On July 29, 2022 at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for registration and moving violations in the area of Coca Cola Drive and MD Rt. 100 East in Hanover. Upon approaching the vehicle officers were met by the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The driver informed officers that their license to operate a motor vehicle was suspended. During a subsequent search of the vehicle officers located 89 capsules (approximately 87g) of suspected crack cocaine, 29 capsules (approximately 13g) of suspected heroin, approximately 9g of suspected marijuana and approximately 3g of suboxone. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

CDS Violation - Hanover

On July 30, 2022, at approximately 10:30 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a registration violation in the area of Arundel Mills Circle and Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover. Upon approaching the vehicle officers met by the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Officers learned that the driver was operating the vehicle in violation of a license restriction. During a subsequent search of the vehicle officers located approximately 190g of suspected marijuana, 142 capsules (approximately 46g) of suspected heroin, approximately 5g of suspected crack cocaine, 14 suboxone, 6 oxycodone and 4 alprazolam. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
