Shooting (Non-Contact) - Glen Burnie

On August 9, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded for shots being fired in the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie. A witness reported seeing a driver of a gray sedan fire several rounds from a black handgun. Several shell casings were recovered from the roadway. No injuries or damage were reported as a result of this incident. Assault - Laurel

On August 9, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of an armed subject with a gun in the 3300 block of Corridor Marketplace in Laurel. Investigation revealed that two subjects were involved in a verbal argument. Immediately following the argument, one of the subjects removed a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the other. Witnesses verified and described the incident as it occurred. During the investigation, officers went on to locate a semi-automatic handgun on one of the subjects and 34 pills of suspected Alprazolam that were individually packaged for distribution on the other subject. Both subjects were arrested and charged accordingly.
